If your hosting package came with a free domain registration, the standard registry retail cost of that domain is deducted from the refund amount. You retain full 100% legal ownership of the domain name for the full 1-year registration term, and you can point it to any other nameserver or registrar.
When you spin up an AMD EPYC VPS or Dedicated Bare Metal server, our hypervisors immediately reserve dedicated physical CPU cores, isolated ECC RAM, dedicated IPv4/IPv6 subnets, and upstream fiber bandwidth that cannot be shared or reallocated. Because of these upfront infrastructure reservations, VPS and Dedicated servers are strictly non-refundable.
